Joan Farnell, Watercolorist Art Reception

Meet Joan Farnell, award-winning watercolorist, at the artist reception for her art show at Penn Kidder Library. Joan's work will be displayed from May 8-June 26. But you get to meet her at the reception. Artwork will be on sale during the reception and the entire time the artwork is displayed.

Joan Myers Farnell was born and raised in Westchester County, New York. She graduated from The College of New Rochelle NY with a BA in Education and Psychology. Joan was a nursery school teacher and Director for over 30 years. She studied watercolor and oil pastel portraiture with several NY art teachers.

Joan has had several solo shows in NY and has participated in several group shows and exhibits both in New York and Pennsylvania, winning awards

in juried shows, in both states. Joan’s work is available for purchase both locally and by commission.
