Celebrate Nature with Our “Welcome the Butterflies Back” Event
Bear Mountain Butterfly Sanctuary / 18 Church Rd. Jim Thorpe.
Join us on May 24th & 25th for a special event to celebrate the return of our butterflies! No reservations are needed, and it’s a perfect opportunity for all ages to enjoy the magic of nature up close. Visitors can hand-feed butterflies in our indoor “Flutterarium” and meet turtles, exotic frogs, Axolotls, beautiful moths, and more.
Our friends from the Carbon County Environmental Education Center will be with us on site from 12-3:30 on May 24th and 25 with live animals and many hands on exhibits . We will be sharing proceeds with the Dimmick Memorial Library and Penn Kidder Library.
