Victorian Homes Tour of Jim Thorpe Information

Your first stop on the Victorian Homes Tour will be at the Dimmick Memorial Library at 54 Broadway in downtown Jim Thorpe.  When you arrive at the library, you will check-in and receive the program with information about the tour buildings and a map to find them.  Your program will act as your ticket to enter the Victorian Homes Tour buildings.
On Sunday, September 14th, the library doors will open at 9am for tour check-in.  You may also pick up your program on Saturday, September 13th, during the library's regular open hours from 9-4pm.

All attendees must have a ticket/program.
No one under the age of 18 will be admitted to the homes.
No eating, drinking or smoking/vaping on properties.
No photography inside the buildings on the Victorian Homes Tour.
No pets allowed.
Remember to be respectful of the homes, please do not touch objects or furniture in the homes.

Yard signs will indicate which houses are a part of the tour.  You may visit the houses in any order you wish.  There is no tour guide to follow on a specified route.  Please be patient as a line-up at homes are possible. Enjoy the opportunity to meet other visitors as you already share a common interest; or move on to the next house and come back!

While the Victorian Homes Tour is 'self-guided,' a visit to the Asa Packer Mansion Museum will be a docent-guided presentation detailing the history of the Packer Family. The Asa Packer Mansion ticket is included with the price of the Victorian Homes Tour.  Find more information about the Asa Packer Mansion here.

Public restrooms are available in the Dimmick Memorial Library, Mauch Chunk Opera House and the Train Station.
